Kingray MDA22U Low Noise UHF Masthead Distribution TV Amplifier
The Kingray MDA22U is single input low noise UHF TV masthead distribution amplifier designed to amplify the frequency range of 520~694 MHz and for UHF frequencies above 694 MHz filtered, specifically filtering out 4G/LTE & 5G transmissions. Whether the unit is used as a masthead or distribution amplifier, the low noise figure, capacity for multiple channels with low distortion and a high output has proven to be effective in all installations, especially digital problem areas.
The Kingray MDA22 amplifier series is based on a new concept of convergent technology. The characteristics of the integrated chip (IC) selected provide a very low noise figure and an output figure that surpasses most distribution amplifiers hence the name Masthead Distribution Amplifier (MDA).
The Kingray MDA22 can be used in a MATV distribution where there is some distance between the antenna and the headend.
The masthead is powered remotely via either a Kingray PSK06 or PSK06F power supply (sold separately).
