Description
Block E UHF Band Pass Filter
This UHF Band Pass Filter, can improve your digital TV reception, by filtering out everything except UHF channels 46-51. This filter would be used in many scenarios such as where secondary VHF channels may be causing interference with your primary UHF channels. For example: An installation in Wembly WA is attempting to receive channels 46-51 from the Perth City transmitter in the CBD. However VHF channels 6-12 are also being received from the primary transmitter in Bickley. When a digital TV is scanned, it’s placing the marginal VHF channels in the primary LCN (Logical Channel Numbers) positions and allocated the more stable UHF channels in the XXX range of LCNs. Using this filter will remove any VHF channels from the spectrum, allowing the DTV tuner to only see the UHF channels.
